I love singing in this meeting house: nothing beats the acoustics of these old Pennsylvania meetings. I am looking forward to bringing back my Songs of the Season program, and you’ll love the refreshments too. See you there!

These concerts are public events. Bring your friends and family for somesocializing and family-friendly entertainment! Tickets are $10 per person at the door. A Quick Note from our Western Quarter Newsletter Editor
October 27th, 2010 · No Comments

I do apologize for the Fall Newsletter not arriving in your homes before Western Quarterly Meeting on October 17. There was no mail service on Monday, Oct 11 due to the Columbus Day holiday and I did not account for this delay. Rest assured that the Winter Newsletter will arrive in plenty of time before Quarterly Meeting in January. The deadline for the Winter Newsletter is Friday, December 3 — please send me announcements, articles, essays and photos from your meeting’s events by or before this date. I look forward to hearing from you!

Welcome to the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). We, Friends, have been the builders of and the worshippers in these meeting places.
We gather in silent communal worship to wait on the Spirit of God. Sometimes It moves us to speak, sometimes it moves us in other ways.
We strive to trust to love, rather than react to fear. We work towards peace because we believe it is the only way. We are led to implement our concerns for equal rights to all.
Many of us have been drawn to Quakerism because of its dual commitment to spiritual awareness and social action.
Perhaps this approach is helpful and meaningful to you. We invite you to worship with us.
