Wright & Simon, a Fine Men's Clothier, is located at 911 Market Street in Wilmington Delaware.

This is our 75th year in business, and we are still prospering, even in this recessionary economy. It is with sincerity that I wish to thank our customers many of whom have been with us for decades, as well as newer customers who have discovered what we offer, delivered in a tradition established in 1935 by my father. Ive continued that tradition since his passing in 2002.

Many of you who have been long-time customers may remember Morris Simon holding court in his later years, in his chair in the back of the store. In his love for the business he demanded a standard in both product and services that established the tradition valued and respected by our customers, whose support has enabled us to continue and prosper through years of dramatic change.

We begin this year, having won all three Best of Mens Clothing Retailers Awards... in Delaware: Delaware Todays 2009 Best of Delaware, the News-Journals Readers Choice Award, and the Dover Posts First State Favorites Award 2009. Why do we continue to win?

We stock only fine mens clothing. Fine doesnt mean just suits. Whether its tails, black tie, a light fall jacket, topcoat, cap or scarf , underwear or even Bills Khakis denims we carry only products that have high intrinsic value. By intrinsic value we mean that in whatever price range youre looking for, we carry the best quality we can find from the best manufacturers at that level. The first reason we will continue to be here is the quality and price of the product we merchandise for you.

Secondly, we will be here because of how we do business. When we have a sale, its a true sale. We never buy special goods just to put on sale. Youll never find that our prices are marked up before we hold a sale. Never have, never will. Its a straightforward, honest way to do business and we have one of the highest number of return customers in the industry.

The third reason were going to be here is that no two people are exactly the same size and shape. What makes fine mens clothing fine is not only the materials and how its made, but also how it fits, and that depends on the customer you. We do more than just sell clothes. We make sure the clothes that you buy and are fitted on the first floor of our store are expertly altered by our own tailors in our own shop on the second floor.

This year we will continue to change and adapt to new manufacturers, products, business and marketing methods as we have for 75 years, but our mission and core values will not change.
