First State Inc is a privately held company located in New Castle Delaware. Our company was originally started as P.J.’s Lawn Service in 1978 and changed names to First State Landscaping in 1984. In 1987 the name First State Inc. was adopted. Currently we have a Construction/Development division as well as a Horticultural Division.
We have built over 75 homes as of the close of 2007. Our new homes range from starter homes to custom executive homes in size. No matter the size, location or price of a project we take on, they all share in one thing – “Concern for the highest level of construction quality available”.
We carry this craftsmanship into other phases of the business and have completed numerous house renovations and additions for families located in the Delaware and Pennsylvania areas. Renovations include full home remodels, basements, bathrooms and kitchens. Regardless the size of the job our team has been able to excel when called upon and carry our pride until the completion of the project.
With such quality structures its only natural to complete the living experience by working with the homes surroundings. We're able to do this by maximizing the functionality of the landscape and matching it with the structure to which it surrounds. Regardless if the project is commercial or residential, we've managed to develop each landscape with its own identity and maintain that identity thru our landscaping services.
