In 2010, ACTS completed an affiliation with PUMH and Heron Point of Chestertown, thereby assuming management and operation of four communities in Delaware and Maryland.
Peninsula United Methodist Homes (PUMH) was founded in 1954 by Rev. George H. Pigueron, Jr., a Methodist minister who recognized the need to provide a secure residential retirement for the older adults in his congregation. His vision blossomed and in the years that followed, PUMH emerged as a pioneer in providing outstanding retirement living and senior housing, setting the standard for an industry that has since grown tremendously.
Methodist Country House in Greenville was established as the first continuing care retirement community in Delaware, built in 1960.
Methodist Manor House opened in 1966 in Seaford. It is also home to the first Alzheimer's wing in Southern Delaware and the first fully integrated on-site wellness center to serve both residents and the larger community.

Cokesbury Village in Hockessin welcomed its first residents in 1978 to a contemporary campus. The first Alzheimer's care unit in Delaware was opened here in 1985.
Heron Point in Chestertown, Maryland was built in 1991. It was managed by PUMH, Inc. and owned by PUMH of Maryland, Inc. Its location on the shores of the Chester River and adjacent to historic Chestertown made it PUMH's first destination retirement community.
